We exist to provide a unique, life giving skill and business that produces quality wood pieces for our community.
In 2022 Community Woodworking Co was launched. Tim Vincent (Owner and Operator), born and raised in Topeka, KS, has been in the construction field since 2009. Having several older brothers in the construction/ remodeling field is what led Tim down the path to loving working and creating with his hands. What started out as a hobby making furniture and items for his first home quickly turned into a full time job when he started advertising and putting his work out into the public. He had the pleasure of creating all the woodwork inside Circle Coffee Co as his first "official" job and it has grown from there. Community can create any kind of custom woodworking piece varying from shelving, signs, cabinetry, tables, benches, and more!
Our Why
Our goal is to not only grow a business that is successful and brings a unique and creative skill to the beautiful city of Topeka, Kansas, but also be a part of community change and success for all. Tim, who has had the honor of being a foster and adoptive dad, made the decision at the inception of Community Woodworking Co. that a percentage of all yearly sales are donated back to foster care and reunification efforts.

Do you have a piece or dream of something you'd like created? Fill out a Contact form here and we will be in touch as soon as possible (Usually within 24-48hr).
Quote
Once we have your basic information and what you're wanting created, we will reach out to you to start discussing more specific details to your project. Next step will most of the time be to come meet you and see your space so we can clearly see and hear your vision. Once we get the needed details solidified we will get you a quote within 1 week. Once you view the quote and get any questions answered, you can approve the quote. We require a 50% deposit to secure a spot on the schedule. We operate on a first come first serve basis, so whenever we receive your deposit is where you're placed on the schedule. As your project gets closer on the schedule we will update you on a more accurate timeline. Remember, quality work requires detailed attention and care, so we do not rush projects out of the shop.
Build
As we work on your project/piece we will update you with progress photos as well as clearly communicate any additional questions we may have on design, construction, and finish. Once your piece is finished it will either be a white-glove delivery, or installed by us (Unless otherwise discussed). All that is left is for you to enjoy!
